I was going off the release time (angling for the 1920's) but, as the far as the timeline of the creation goes, Schubert's Serenade (Stšndchen) is from ~ 1828, Bizet's "Pearl Fishers" (Les pÍcheurs de perles, Nadir's aria, is from 1863,) Leoncavallo's Pagliacci (Vesti la Giubba) is from 1892, and Puccini's "Turandot" (Nessun Dorna) is from 1926.

frickin' Cliff Richard and old hippie music? really?
Your free to post any kind of music you like.
I think we've been quite diverse in our tastes concerning multicutural music from
    all areas of the planet.

May I suggest, and I can understand why you might think that believe it or not, is
rather than criticize others posts why not post what you like instead?
    I would probably like it.

Here's one, for example, that's good to crank up to bug the neighbors sometimes if
    they're on the rag.
In other words, personally, I sometimes let music say what I want to say without me having to say it.
Just type in any phrase that's on your mind and whammo, it's already been done 10X over haha.
    -Cheers.

Still one of my old faves from Anarchy Stone from Japan.
They are still going strong. I spoke to them once on Facebook. I have followed them for a decade or more. Been quite a ride for them unlike how it would be in North
    America. I digress. -Cheers.

Same song still rockin from 2017:

Here’s something a bit more contemporary — only 30 years old. Arguably the greatest opening credit sequence in cinema. Written in anger, frustration, love and lightning. Perfect blend of music, dance, photography, and connection to the movie’s themes and subject matter. And it was inspired by Ann-Margaret!

Jimi Hendrix - "Hey Joe". Saw him play live at the ATL Pop Festival in 1969.
