Choked up by the nostalgia. This is from a 1977 Soviet film "The Office romance" (available on YouTube for free on the Mosfilm Channel, with the English subtitles). the film itself was the Soviet box office leader but there's also a separate story about the sequence above. On September, the 16th, 1976, Moscow experienced a unique snowfall. Eldar Ryazanov, film's director, immediately sensed that it played into the main theme of his film, a relationship between people past their prime. So, he sent the actors home that day but told his camera operators to go outside on Moscow streets and shoot as much footage as they could possibly take. It was subsequently edited into a video clip/song from that film.

I’m a little concerned about clicking that link. Why is there an American flag in the shape of a swastika?

Ya. Uploaded during the GWB era. But it's the best copy of the montage I could find.

Such nonsense I tend to ignore but it may not be suitable for work. It's funny that Mosfilm put a claim on it.

Here's the full film, with English subtitles

Hey DLD. Speaking of Nastalgia I only had to go back to some old posts in this thread to get me going again from page

Ol' Bowser. Looks like a young kid now haha.

I assume this is legit: (I can hear Wowser Bowser in there)

And according to one of the comments in that thread, Hendrix followed them.
The audio quality is not up to par for posting here i.m.o so here's an alternative with better audio...

I'm goofing off here for a bit right now hanging out. I'll pick it back up next post. -Cheers.

I think California Jam was the first case of a major rock festival with the modern sound reinforcement system. 58,000 watt, 126 db at quarter mile away from the stage. The last performance for MKIII, as Ritchie bailed out after this concert and went on to form Rainbow (with the remnants of Ronnie James Dio's Elf) ... which, oddly enough, is a sign that DP itself had on the stage.
