    Hi there,

    what should i set the syncro scan to if im shooting 720pn 27 Frames
    to stop fluro tubes flicking

    you can check on a production monitor but I suspect that if the ballasts are cheap then the rate could fluctuate which will create a fluctuation in luminosity on your image - its very ugly - you can see it very clearly on a waveform monitor.

    I do not think there is a safe shutter speed for bad ballasts
