Hi,
I actually posted the main part of this in the FCP section of the forum http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread...98#post1073098 . However, as I really want to know the cause of what happened as well as how to fix it, I thought I'd ask here to see if I did anything wrong.
Essentially, I recorded an overseas doco using a DVX100 on factory settings F6 and a lot of colour has blown out past 100% in the RGB parade (examples of scopes are in the post linked to above). I don't think I have ever seen this before and I'm not sure what has happened, or if this is normal? When shooting I didn't let anything go over 100% (zebra) and I kept skin tone at 80%.
Does the DVX100AE normally shoot above these levels and is there an easy way to prevent it from happening?

Thanks heaps,

Matt
