Hey guys, funky title i know. I shoot anamorphic to get 16:9. In final cut, i edit on a 23.98 timeline 9I shoot 24pA) and i work on the anamporhic basis to. When i export, i do the usual 720x480. But i once made it 720 x 380 and it looked really nice, i no i cut off the top, but does this kill the purpose of your own camera work? (composition)? and does it change quality? I like the look cuz it looks more widescreen lol. I tried 720 x 240 and it looked wonderous!
