Problem: 1080 24pA Import to FCP 5.1.2

Hi All,
Any help is much appreciated.

I am importing 1080 24pA files into a FCP 5.1.2 project using the Import Panasoic P2 window/viewer.

My clips show up and play fine before importing.
When I try to import them, they create .mov files in my capture scratch, but do not import as clips into my project bin. When I try to manually import these .mov files, I get an error message:

File Error: "1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 uknown"

I've tried importing with and without the remove advanced pulldown function on (and I do believe it should be on since the HPX500 shoots 1080/24pA over 60i.

I'm running QuickTime 7.1.3, FCP 5.1.2, and importing 1080/24pA footage onto an Xsan with proper read/write permissions.

Anyone have any advice?
Should I upgrade anythiing?

Im working with FCP 5.1.4 and haven't no problem at all.
Try to update your Final Cut Pro.
