help with exporting screen grabs in FCP

When I want to get a screen grab from a clip I rightclick and choose quicktime conversion then still image and whatever file type i want. But when i go to look at the screen grab outside of FCP its not widescreen. The image is sqeeuzed into 4:3 and it obviously looks awful. I hope this is an easy fix and im just doing something wrong, but let me know if you can.
    thanks

You need to resize it manually- that's native 16:9. For example to look correct in photoshop a 720x480 NTSC 16:9 still needs to be manually resized to about 863x480(turn off constrain proportions to enable this) to look correct.
