My photos from day 2 of IBC 2007 are online here:
http://ibc.mikkowilson.com/2007photos/saturday/
A big mix of various random photos, I'll hopefully get to commenting on them at some stage, but right now I'm running out of the door to day 3.
I will note briefly that the set "HG10_PhotoMode" are photos actually taken with the upcoming HG10 AVCHD camera from Canon. Video is recorded to a hard drive (so I couldn't get any), but it shoots stills to a MiniSD card. So these shots are really more about the still function than being "frame grabs" of video mode.
Oh, and I have to point out this one I took of a random booth in passing, just as a shout-out basically...

Saw some interesting things in there thanks Mikko. Couple of Q's
1/ Did you play with any of the panthers - any comments?
2/ Any specs on those LCD iterations from swit and transvideo?
3/ ABC (18) who's the manufacturer on that jib?
4/ Can you steal me that Arri HMI? Or a couple of those Rosco Litepads?
5/ Any word on price from Rosco?
Heh sorry for all the Q's. Must be having fun in that candy shop mate.

Yes! I am innocent!
Played with the Panthers, seem ok, very much like a Sachtler copy in my oppinion.
No real specs on those paticular monitors. The Swit was oif intereste becsuse of the "video out", which turns out to be a simple loop-through on the composite input.
The Transvideo is a very high end monitor (It's like $6grand or something like that) It's a HD/SD-SDI monitor with a bunch of features (all normal TV safe areas, 3 sets of fully customisable framelines, a horizon/level indicator with a bunch fo styles, waveform, vectorscope, etcc.. All sorts of stuff that make it interesting as a Steadicam monitor for high end stuff really.
ABC is a camera support company.
I think Arri would notice, plus I'd hurt my back trying to pick it up. Rocos would be easier...
I'll check on the prices on the Roscos tommorrow.
