Stolen Gear/ Atlanta

I was working on a behind the scenes music video today for a Band called Shop Boyz and my 2 pelican cases got stolen from my locked car which was in front of the house we were shooting at. Luckly for me, I had both cameras (DVX100A) with me and a second shooter. My 2 Senn wireless mics, Senn plug transmitter, AT897 shotgun mic,
2 Hoodman LCD covers, Box of Tape, 5 DVXuser Batts and both DVX power supplies were all stolen.

Just a heads up for any Atlanta freelancers. The pelican cases were the 1516 model.

I had my car broken into and some gear stolen and my car insurance covered it. I do not have a registered business, so when they asked what my gear was for, I said recreational use only. Just some advice should you go that route for reimbursement.

Hope this isn't against the board policies, but maybe this can save you a little money when you are restocking. B&H has buy one get one free Porta Brace hard cases. The free case is the next size down. B&H's website says that all of these cases will hold a DVX.

i.e. - Buy a 2700F and get a free 2600F

Sucks to hear, man. Someone stole all my audio equipment just before christmas last year and the insurance company told me to go f&&& myself

i've lost thousands of dollars in business because of it and still haven't made enough money to replace what I lost
