    Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 update

    Hi,

Does anyone have a downloaded Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 update? I purchased the FCP 6.0 from Ebay, and the guy has registered with Apple and downloaded the updated. I was not able to download the update from Apple as I got a complaint saying that the update has already been download. The guy I bought the software from has unfortunately deleted the update file after having installed it. I was not able to use the built-in "Software Update" of MacOS facility to get the update either. I would appreciate if anybody can share the update. Thanks indeed!

If you purchased FCP 6 (FCS 2), then the user selling it needs to execute a transfer of license to you. Otherwise, you are utilizing pirated software. You would need to resolve that issue with Apple.

From apple website, I assume its not meant to. Other apps mention it as OK.

After discovering this, I downgraded Color to v.1.0 on my Powerbook 1.5 so I could use the application. While the performance is not sufficient to do any serious work, v.1.0 does work on the Powerbook, and I just wanted to get familiar with the application while on the road. I have to say, though, that downgrading was a serious pain that involved unistalling all of FCS2 with appzapper and reinstalling all of the apps.
