Just a quick note to see if anyone else has been encountering issues. With the new FCP studio 2 upgrade I have been getting my footage from my FS-100 into FCP by using the log and transfer way as opposed to the FCP 5 way of import/Panasonic/... etc.
When I try to do a frame rate conversion with this footage it doesnt read it as DVCPROHD 720p 60 fps. It says it is when I check th eformat of the footage in the bin, just that the frame rate converter says it cant work with it...
I will be shooting a lot of footage this week so I will set up a series of situations to test, just wanted to see if anyone has seen this so far.
ps waiting for 3.0 upgrade for the FS-100 to try 24P format as see what happens.

Make certain that you have left the remove duplicate frames option UNCHECKED.
I have the 3.0 software and have not had problems with Log and Transfer in FCP 6.
Now, I will also say that I have not tried any VFR since upgrading to FCP 6.
