Im sure this is answered somewhere else but its a quick question. What is the recomended amount of hours on the dvx before you need to get it cleaned? I heard 999. I have 332 now.

It really depends on how hard the camera is used. Shooting all outdoors in harsh atmospheres? you're gonna need to do a lot more upkeep to maintain your gear.

Average, well kept DVX? I've also heard 900 hours.

The recording heads should be cleaned as necessary or at least every 50 hours of camera use. BARRY S.
