CAC wide Lens for HPX500?

Has anyone heard any word of wide angle CAC lenses coming from either Canon or Fujinon?

I second that request. For verite docs etc., I'd like at least as wide as 5.2 mm.

Do these exist in the less expensive cac??

Thanks for the Info about the Canon 4.5. The strange thing is that I don't see it being offered anywhere. Do you know of any vendors that are selling it?

No vendors... I just came across that NAB pdf when researching the other Canon lenses. I am very curious but afraid it won't be out yet when I need it in 2 weeks.

You may have to rent a high end HD lens if you are going to shot soon. Kaku, in Tokyo, has HPX 555 (same cam) sample video on his site with a high end Canon HD lens. Very nice!

I hear Canon CAC lenses are coming out in three months...
I think Ark Video in Shibuya does HDxs lens rentals. I'm going to see them soon.
