My F3 does better with a little fill, too...
I was hoping Panny would come out with a large sensor camera...hopefully in a Varicam form factor. Nope.
I was tempted to say Panasonic risks becoming as exciting as Ikegami. But now I see Ikegami...

Funny thing is I use it specifically for run and gun. It's good enough for framing and focus.
Having used VF20's for years on an HDCam, I can pretty much tell what's happening for...

I've had that same setup for quite awhile and really like it. As an old ENG guy, it was not a difficult transition.
I have had some issues with VF mount not staying perfectly level...it's something...

I understand now...must be that Cornwall accent.
But as an F3 owner, I hear ya.

Wow, you realize just how small that camera is when there's a big brick battery on the back.
Congrats guys...I'm jealous!

The fact that I don't even own a tinfoil hat (or a pocket protector) probably precludes me from participating in this thread...

From looking at the pictures carefully and seeing no traditional pots, I have to assume you must have set rec audio levels via menu/jog wheel?
I'm still not clear how one would get...
Isn't it true that those numbers drop by half when shooting progressive mode, like the F3?
Today I can't help but flash back about nine years when I was shopping for my first HD camera. Sony's F900 was still new, and I remember wondering how the hell I could justify spending $100K for a...
Finally, a look at the audio configuration. From CVP:
Not terribly elegant...

F55 (body only) around $50K
F5 (body only) around $18K
Holy cow. Nice!
Are those 15 or 19mm rods on that mount?
I'd like to see pics of the audio module. It would be very cool if it had a slot in for a wireless!
