Well form factor is a big deal to me, and in that department the FS cameras are stunning in their bad design. Especially the 700 with that new recorder.

I've had that same setup for quite awhile and really like it. As an old ENG guy, it was not a difficult transition.
I have had some issues with VF mount not staying perfectly level...it's something...

I certainly found all those dots and dithering to be very distracting in that image.

Yea that movcam shoulder pad is in a wacky position.

As someone who's shot quite a few docs over 30 years with 2/3" cameras, I would say the problem isn't whether the F5 is tough enough, but rather is it efficient enough?
On a 2/3" camera using a 13X...

I did get it and did a brief test.
The first thing I noticed were two light leaks, one at the camera mount and one where the two halves of the converter join.

From looking at the pictures carefully and seeing no traditional pots, I have to assume you must have set rec audio levels via menu/jog wheel?
