I don't think that will happen as Panasonic has encrypted the latest GH1 firmware. They probably did the same with the GH2. Same reason why the Canon 7D will not be targeted by the Magic Lantern guy;...

Now the older (but more expensive) 5Dmk2 has the ability to bypass the AGC, and has added histogram support, will Canon also update the 7Ds firmware?
Or do you think that they'll skip the 7D... -
