Just found a review, the E-500 is Four Thirds, not Micro Four Thirds. So your lenses would not be directly usable, but you could use them with an adapter.

The AF100 should be at least 320-400 ISO. That's the range a GH1 performs best at, and the AF100 should be at a minimum as good as that, and probably better, being 1.5 years newer.

APS-C and Super35 aren't the same, but APS-C (at least from the Canon) and 35mm cine are exactly the same. Well, almost exactly the same; APS-C Canon is 22.3mm wide, 35mm cine is 22mm wide.

The only pricing info we've heard is "less than $6,000." Could be $5995, could be less, we don't know more than that. All we know is it won't be more than $6000.

We won't know about those factors until it arrives; only thing we know for sure is that it's 1/3 the price of a Red One. Or less. Of course, it doesn't do 4k or 120fps either, so it's not quite...

4/3rds is a new still-camera industry format, supported initially by Panasonic and Olympus.

And that's for a 2.5:1. See what I mean? There aren't any 10:1 zooms for SLR with a 2.0 iris.

And SLR lenses are far cheaper than broadcast lenses! So if the SLR guys can't do it, don't expect...

I understand your requests for glass, but -- look around. Do you see ANY SLR lenses (that cover the large frame) that are 10:1 zooms, at f/2.0? Look at cinema glass -- do they have any 10:1 zooms...

It uses the Micro Four Thirds lens mount, so you can use all the existing m4/3 lenses, or you can get adapters that let you use pretty much any SLR lens ever made.
