Has anyone got a cure for a sticky zoom on a stock 14-45 lens on a GH2.
It is quite "notchy" and smooth zooms are impossble
Any sugestions other than buy the new power zoom lens.

I`v be tasked with creating a set of online tutorials for our video production club with a few conditions attached.
The software I use must be free.
It must be a lot better than "movie maker"...
The way I see it is that most of us use FD lenses because they are quite cheap and plentifull on Ebay so I cant see the point of buying an adaptor thats going to cost £100. I just couldnt justify...

Really enjoyed your movie. Your use of the fisheye adds loads to it. I also like the laid back sitting on a park bench comentary. Just wish I could do a nollei backside kickflip.
Looking past the technical aspects of this film I loved the feel of it. Being slow added to the atmospherics of it all. I especialy liked the first 30 secs.

What is the best setting to use when I want an extreme slo mo up to about 20% of normal. 50p , 50i or 24p in HD.
I would prefer to keep it AVCHD but its secondary to the smooth movment.
Love the establishing shot its quite inspiring.
How much of this was choreographed it looks like you were all over the place.

I was thinking about a simple tube type adaptor with no optics in it ....... similar to the nikon and canon adaptors where the focus and iris are manual.

I am now aware the video lenses differ from photo lenses but are a lot more expensive. XL1 lenses are sold on Ebay for very cheap prices so I was wondering if anyoune had ever tried to couple one up...
