Tough call. #2 seems to hide some of the lighting problems better than #1. I guess I'd go with 2.

Might I suggest you watch this presentation from Sony / Alister Chapman. It's an excellent explination of SLog and may further enhance your user experience....

Rec Run or free run? KiPro mini needs rec run to trigger with TC.

The DNxHD firmware is available. I've already updated my mini and tested it in Avid MC6. It's all good. Go to AJA site and go to support.

I just switched to 720 60p with s-log using single link 4:2:2 and it's functioning. Do you need the 4:4:4 RGB?

At this point I have a vague idea of which shots came from which camera.

It was graded in Resolve. We blew them out intentionally. There's plenty of detail in the original footage.

I have a DP6 and had a DP4. I didn't need both and the DP6 was more practical for my work. If I need another EVF setup I'd buy it again. I used it on a GH2, AF100, D7000 and F3. Even with my disdain...

I have the current firmware for the F3 w/ slog and the small HD DP4. there is no signal via HDMI when in S-log. As soon as you select S-log the HDMI signal cuts out. Not sure how Nate makes it work....

HDMI output from the F3 when in log mode disbales the SDI port in single link or dual link mode. I have the latest firmware 1.1. If you record to kipro mini, that has both SDI and HDMI active...

i was told that 100 is codec limit with prores and that DNxHD is 110 from someone working on a new raw wavelet.

Heard from Switronix today - my cable had a short, not reversed polarity. It's nice they responded so quickly.
