I'm surprised your selling it. Despite being dual focus, its at least as sharp as a ISCO 36, and has a .5m mfd - probably the best overall cheap anamorphic lens out there. GLWS

This is absolutely true. I only go to 4k screens now, I hate the screendoor affect with 2k screenings. (with large enough screens)

Footage looks fantastic. Some of the best I've seen from a RC heli in terms of stabilization, framing, and motion.

I'm testing DNG's from the Ikonoskop right now in Davinci Resolve and the performance is phenomenal compared to NLEs. If the blackmagic works as well as Ikonoskop files, I'll be really happy.

I use the 42" GT25 for my main desktop display.

I wish there was a utility to convert DNG to Redcode, editing 2.5k red raw would actually work on most modern computers. Going to be awhile before a 915mb codec (5MB per frame at 24p) is going to be...

If you are so inclined - you can also just import DNG into Vegas and edit at 1/10 the speed of Red raw. No controls over the raw image like red footage at this point.
