Whats the best way to work with GoPro footage in FCP?

We are going to dvd with footage filmed on canon 60D at 24p and edited in FCP 6 - What would be the best Timeline settings and also final render for dvd?

im using FCP my H.264 renders are washed as many of you know. Im curious X264 seems to not shift any gamma and my colors look almost perfect.

Are there any pro vs cons over X264 vs H.264

What about using X264 .....I understand this codec corrects the gamma shift...Anybody else try this....Any pros vs cons??

In not using after effects - im also on a Mac ....will The links above work in FCP

I have searched for a fix or work around and cant seem to dial this in...I beleave its a gamma shift.

Yes that sounds accurate. I own the material on the DVD I just need a second copy.
