Maybe for stills, but for video the image is being crunched down to 1080x1920 pixels or whatever. That introduces additional considerations, making what you are saying here not necessarily so.

The Rokinon is very sharp, so that helps. At 1080p or 720p video resolutions, quality is fine for my needs. Thanks for the suggestions.

Regarding the ND filters, I believe the AC90 is like my HMC40 in having automatic internal ND filters. Which is actually very suited to your needs, as the operators wont necessarily have to fuss...

I just tried an export to AVI from Premiere 5.0 under Win7 using Neo5.6, and it preserved the superwhites just fine. So the MOV encoding is the source of your problem.

Try submitting a support request to the Cineform folk: http://support.cineform.com/home

Cineform supports Superwhites, so you seem to be losing them either during the decode into Premiere, or the encode out of Premiere. Do you see Superwhites when you view the YC parade on the timeline?...
