AC does the formatting (or whoever s helping with the camera). The ACs job is to hand off the footage to the DIT then bring in offloaded cards for formatting.

How bad was your kit lens that you are raving so much? I mean yeah, quality glass is better then the kit lens but the kit lenses i worked with in the past were at least adequate.

At 0:48 there is your answer - colored LEDs. Similar effects can be achieved with PARs.

It was encoded to 5.1 from sound mixer but i still need to make some small changes.
I'm using Avid MC6 and the final is to print a DCP for festivals. As such it should stay as 5.1.
