Harry, I disagree. The footage from the F35 is one of the most cinematic and organic I've ever seen.

This is not the only problem with manfrotto stuff. Almost any tripod, monopod, lighting support that I bought in the last 7 years got broken after a while.

upscaling 720p with F3 works fine. You can cut it with 1080p and most people won't notice it.

I experienced this problem as well as you when shooting at 25psf. The last version of 5DtoRGB should fix it. Try feeding it with the mts directly and it should see the file but no timecode....

I just did a test shooting a red object at 24P (not 24PF). I imported the file in FCPX and I don't notice any chroma smearing.
So the problem may reside in the 25PF option for us in PAL...
