Yes HVX200, that was my first choice about two years ago, but I was able to buy 2 XL2's for the price of one HVX. I would love to have that camera as well. DO you have any work posted of the 7D?

I am not sure if you have every shot with an XL2 or a camera with the shoulder held design, but how comfortable is shoot with an HMC compared to an XL2?

I was researching the HMC40 and it has no external mic input, so I am assuming that the zoomh4n would be the fix for that.

I don't know a whole lot about short films and you can tell by the one I just posted but I think the story is well written it compliments the title. The black and white feel is good too.
