    Hi,

Personally I would not, once 10 years ago I used T16 and that looked like s*%t, relatively speaking! For timelapse I use a ND 3.0 (10 stops) so I do try to avoid closing down.

    Outside I...

    Hi Häakon,

Do users of 1/3" cameras think in terms of focal lengths or in terms of Wide angle/Normal/telephoto when they compose their images?

    Hi,

Hopefully one day people will just accept a 18mm lens is always 18mm lens & just that! Until that day expect to be confused.

I am more surprised people don't quote the 1/3" equivalent,...

    Hi,

FWIW 1 f stop down from f2.8 is f4, remember the T stop will be lower still.

Out of interest will the maximum T stop change as you zoom in? Just curious, not saying there is anything...

    Hi,

Bear in mind that not having dealers or a big distribution network keeps costs far lower. That benefit it passed on in Red's pricing.

    Hi,

I find it's always good to test lenses to find their sweet spot. With state of the art motion picture lenses, they will be at there best almost wide open. Most still camera lenses will...

    Hi,

They are probably the best lenses in the world, for 35mm sized motion picture imaging, and a bargain compared to DigiPrimes! LOL

The pronouncement was "If you know how to light" is very different from "If you know what your doing"

    Hi,

At $30,000 per prime lens, and optimized for a 3 chip HD camera, I don't see any point in using them with a Red One. There are more suitable lenses available!

    Hi Ruairi,

They are the 2/3" chip lenses of choice if you have the budget! Claudio Miranda is currently using them, Geoff Boyle used them on Mutant Chronicles.
