Saturday, Feb 10th, between 10 AM 2:30 PM.

Client trying to save a few bucks, seeing if I can find someone to cover this and send me footage.

I'm thinking I'll make a short/stubby yoke for the Lightstorm to get the panel further...

Huge? Man, the 1/8 plywood at that size weighs approximately nothing, and the way I made this I drilled multiple holes in it - not talking 3/4" plywood at 4x4 or something. So probably more lifelong...

    Quick barndoors for Aputure 672

I really like the 672 for backlight/hair/cheekbones with the diffusion panel in place. I tried blackwrap to control the spill and just managed to overheat the panel.

I found a little Osram 150 bulb that's just perfect daylight, modded a 2" fresnel for it - I strike it from a Ballast sold on Amazon for fifty bucks, did a tut on that here some time back. Cold start...

Oh, I hear ya - I've seen the posts here of kids buying a 672 for a key light and think "you're in for a sad surprise"... (but it's the hair/cheek light in this shot, excellent light for what it...
  11. Get LED panels into your existing softboxes - this worked for me

Raise your hand if you're unimpressed with the LED panel softbox solutions. Oddball sizes, the fronts aren't recessed, not very big - like, who every reaches for a 24" square softbox?

    Anyway, this...
