Everyhting about developing world docs is tiring for a 40+ white guy! Heat, monsoon. Its just a question of which tiring you want. Mainly we did interviews on nice little vinten sticks.

My FS7 is built usually with for shoulder work with my 'EVF' (DP502) so far forward that I risk seeing it with a wide lens. My camera is lovely on the shoulder to operate.

For rigfree work - minimal build - short shots - (typical kids videos) I think the rear EVF is quite nice and usable on the C200.

So I don't see there being MORE of a reason to purchase an additional EVF for the Canon than there is for the Sony. They both seem pretty equivalent on that front.

    nikon Z50

    announced nikon z50.

Im always interested in a nikon release.

    This is
    -cheap
    -functional AF
-nikon colour and some sort of flat profile
    -DX (s35)
    100 ISO - fewer NDs

Overall clearly Im describing a 1d lut where each input is mapped to a distinct output. I look forward to considering the interpolation and lossiness of 3d LUTs :)

WHen you said 32X32X32 I thought you meant an ability to output 32^3 input to output values - my comment was that that would be enough values to cover the 1023*3 or 4096*3

A 10 bit camera will never output 3000 (aka input into the LUT) so you dont need a number for that in the capabilities of the LUT.

1023 - 1024 - Im sure you are correct that 1023 is the max :)

On the shoulder you would just get and EVF/Monitor Vlcok on the back, proceed as normal.

    1024 * 3 = 3072 colours per 10bit pixel
    4096 * 3 = 12288 colours per 12bit pixel
Possible colours to look up in a 32^3 LUT = 32768 possible colours
