No not the D5100 for sure and the others that I have tried don't, but maybe the D7100 does?

The rolling shutter is only seen on the LV. It is not recorded as bad.

I use sharpening 2 on the D5100. The only reason I go this high is so I can focus properly. Otherwise I find it hard to tell what is in focus. I have been keeping it at 2 on the D5200 as well.

Sorry, are you saying that you can change the aperture in Shutter priority in LV? Meaning you can hear the aperture changing or is it just the values changing on screen?

He's wrong. You cannot change aperture in LV mode. You have to leave and set aperture and then go back in.

Not ideal for sure!

Unfortunately you cannot use mf assist in video. You can use the peaking function.

Hmmm, I wouldn't think it would come very soon, but I guess you never know. Have you tried dropping frames in post. It's not that bad.
