Mounting 16GB cards from HPX500

Hello,
We just got the HPX yesterday. I tried to mount the camera via firewire just the same way as the HVX and have ran into some problems.

I've tried this several times and have been faced with inconsistent results. The first time I tried, one of the four mounted. The second time I got three out of four.

The HPX is using 16GB cards. The computer is running 10.4.9 on a Mac Pro. The camera is connected directly to a firewire drive which in turn is connected to the Mac Pro.

Is there anyone familiar with this issue? Your help is much appreciated.

Have you checked disk utility? Sometimes when I hook my HVX up to my MBP only one card shows up. If I go to disk utility the card is on the left, unmounted. I can mount it and all is good.

Yep, that worked. Thanks. I also discovered that the HVX was doing the same thing. It's probably the new Mac Pro that's the problem. I've never seen this problem on the G4 that I was working with.
