Battery Display issue

I have a DVX100b with a 5600 upgraded battery. I have fully charged the battery all night. When I put the battery into the camera the display on the bottom right now reads 0mins and keep flashing. After filming for a little bit the camera will "end" filming.

The weird thing next to the display of "0min" the icon of the battery show full?

Is there a reset button? What can I do to disply the right amount of time for the battery life. I went back to the old battery that came with the camera and the same thing happens?

Just rewind the tape :-)

huumm I did a search for 0min. I was searching for battery issue. I found this

The "0min" refers to the tape, not the battery. The battery icon shows you the battery status.

If I go to my counter button and bring up the what I thought was the tape counter on the top center of the screen it is showing I have used 47:35:05 of the tape so I shoud have 10mins left of tape?

I have never rest the counter with each new tape I put in is this something I have to do?
