OK Joe, here I am... Nice shots, even if I prefer sunlight ! The gain is really impressive, at 3dB it is barely noticable... One thing I found, but it's probably me, is that night shots gives more a video look than sunlight ones, maybe artificial sources ?
Joe, could you please shoot some landscapes and portraits ?
Thanks,
Kristin

Joe,
I was able to get these files no problem, and thanks much for posting them.
I think the low-light performance is very impressive--in the 0 gain shots, there's no virtually no visible noise, and yet I can make out details very well (especially with even a tiny bit of light, like the model's cigarette lighter). Even the 12db gain shots were pretty good, though I generally avoid gain if I can at all help it, and it looks like this camera will definitely let me do so.
Thanks again.
Now that you've had the camera a few more days, any further thoughts to share? Any little gripes or gotchas come to mind?

If someone can provide an alternative to sendspace that is more user friendly, i'll put them on there.
I dont have the camera anymore, it was just a loaner from Panny NZ as we (company i work for) have a very good customer relationship with them.. (spent a lot with them over the past 6 months)
The only thing i didnt like was the viewfinder, it was just to plasticy for my liking, however it still definitely did the job well and focus wasnt to hard. I found the focus assist worked.. however when it came to focusing a shoot with a lot of different objects in throughout the DOF it was hard to work out which one was in focus and which one wasnt.
All in all its an amazing camera that does everything I personally want anyway. I just havent got a use for one right now to pay it off.

I watched the footage the other day, thanks for providing it. It looks really good.
I am serious considering picking up one of these cameras the more I look at it, the more I like.
