I am shooting a fake crime scene set up this weekend and I was bored today and decided to play with some of my props in the woods, along with my fake blood. It is only on youtube and looks really dark for some reason. I have to see what it looks like on a monitor I guess still.
If you are bored take a look

EDIT:
Actually here is a link to it on putfile. The quicktime file looks better than youtube, but it will take a few minutes to start playing probably.

Looks good. I don't mind it being dark. It's actually appropriate.
Any interest in sharing your scene file settings? Just curious. There's a thread on here trying to complie as many as possible. Always nice to have the video to support your 'looks'.

How did you do the shot where you pass under the ribbon? Btw, thats looks really damn good...

The shot that floats under the ribbon was with a glidecam. I plan on doing something similar to that shot in my actual video, hopefully i can make it less wobbly

Some nice looking stuff. On youtube it was a little dark, especially when we see a lot of the ground. Maybe try and bring out your objects (shells and gun) a little more so we can clearly see them.
Nice job though.

Looks cool. I have to shoot a crime scene Thursday but its supposed to look like a police made video but I like what you did. I think I will shoot it both ways to give them options just in case.

Way too much time spent on the POLICE TAPE. All you need is an establishing shot with the tape and then your gun and blood on the leaves etc. IMO as well the music didn't fit the feel of the topic.
Just my two cents. Otherwise nice shots

Some cool shots and I actually like the music. If this weren't just test shots with that music I think it would create a certain mood. Anyway, I liked your shots.

Looks really good. I only see one problem with it, and thats the fact that the the empty casings don't match up with a Desrt Eagle, or most any handgun for that matter. But as far as the actual video, i think it looks great and i think you did a great job with the camera. :D

Yeah I know I think its a rifle bullet of some sort. The only other casings I had were from a .22 and they were really tiny. That was the only other one I had oh well

We shot yesterday but at night so I had to use a light and a little gain :P
It is supposed to look like a police videographers log so its all one take with 2 detectives going over what they found.
