You're a long way from home, yuppie. I'll start a tab. Try the "Search" funtion, and happy reading.
PS-Final Cut Pro.

In last years I worked with lots of editing softwares, like - Final Cut Pro, Avid, Adobe Premier etc... but I stopped at Canopus Edius 4.03. Nothing can beat this monster:) You just enjoy the work.
If not Edius, then - Final Cut.

"The best editting sofware out there today".....
Sorry but that doesn't exist. I doubt pest's question intended a whole editorial debate but here we go again.
I've been editing professionally on Avid for too many years now, Final Cut for several. Edius? You know - it's never even come up for discussion on any project I've ever cut. Maybe for what you need and what you're doing but there simply is no 'best ever'.
Pest22o: you need to decide what is the 'best' that you can afford and then start from there. Maybe it is Edius, maybe it's Final Cut. Pick a dollar figure and google away. Creative Cow can also be an invaluable resource. This topic is probably best-suited for the "NLE" area on here.

Roger that, triplej96.
Avid = Industry Workhorse. Pays my bills too.

I didnt ask what's the best, I asked what's more user friendly for someone who hasnt edited anything before. And budget wise I'm willing to buy Final cut studio?

If that's the question, Vegas is the answer.

Sorry we got so off-topic.
I'll admit I don't know much about Vegas but you might be happy. JBurkey seems to think you would.
