New P2 card arriving today

My 16gb P2 card s should arrive in a couple hours. I thought it wouldn't arrive until late June after the initial new P2 camera/card bundle orders were filled. HPX cameras have been shipping this week. Hope it arrives in time for a shoot I have later today :happy:

Got them and camera reads them at 42m each. Will shoot test and time dnld on my Powerbook.

Yah, I think the extra 2 min are for color bars:)
If I roll continuosly on this card, just one long take - will I have any trouble importing into FCP? Or will it end up as multiple, shorter clips?

You'll get a a bunch of 4GB files due to a limitation in the FAT32 file system used by the P2 cards, but FCP will reassembly them into a single continuous clip for you. That even works when one recording spans multiple cards.
