Since it's an SD monitor, it won't do you much good on focusing, no matter how good it is- there's just not enough resolution.

I've heard/read some good things about Marshall LCD's. This one does SD/HD Analog. I've never used it, but I'm considering it for my HVX200. It lists for about $1600 US.

After much reading and frustrated in trying to focus on that little screen...I got the Marshall the other day and happy with it. And since I use a canon..I got it with the canon adaptor so I didn't have to change batteries. They make one for pany and also for sony setups.
