Has anyone heard of this JVC?

I am looking to upgrade to a real DV deck. I am currently using a cheap DV camera and, the heads may be wearing down, because some of the footage I capture is pixelated.
Anyway, I would like a VTR that has the capabilities to capture, and record back to tape.
The JVC I posted above looks ideal to me but may be too good to be true since the price is so low.
I've also looked into the Panasonic AG-DV1000, but have read that this deck is cheaply made.
I have narrowed my choice down to the Panasonic AG-DV2500, but when I saw the JVC, I had to ask if anyone has had any experience with this deck.
