View Full Version : wd-h43 worth it ? and some Q's on TL-H43

i was just wondering about getting the Canon WD-H43 0.7x Wide Angle Converter, when you guys have bought it do you leave it on all the time ? and shoot all your footage with it, as to get more in your shots ? or do you use it specificly ?? of not when do you use it ? also anybody got the tele photo lense (Canon TL-H43 1.7x Tele Converter) ? any grabs so i can see what it looks like ? i coudnt find any with google ? thanks regards marty.

Apparently from the posts I read today, the Canon telephoto lens isn't even close to being zoom through: you have to be more than 1/2 through to the long end before it stops vignetting. So unless you do nature photography or maybe sports (?) it seems to have limited use.

The Canon wideangle on the other hand, is a must have. I haven't taken mine off since I got it.
