Could have sworn there was a post on this topic 4-5 months ago, but can't find it anywhere. I've got a 720p/24fps project in AE (originally imported as QT Ref from Avid HD Xpress Pro, and was recorded with HVX200). It is approximately 16 mins in length so should have plenty of DVD room for good quality.
Anyways, there is a document floating around out there on the best Mpeg 2 render (to DVD) setting for such a composition, but I can't find it.
So I'd like to know what are the best settings quality wise for exporting this from AE (for viewing from DVD) , and what I should pick for the 'interlaced'/frame settings for this given its 24fps origin. I know some documents reference 'i-frame' settings and such. Does that matter for this?
Was a very useful guide for best setting for accomplishing this for Avid->Sorenson Squeeze. Anyone know of similar for AE?
