Hi guys- thanks for all the great advice and knowledge, I have a question in regards to something funky thats happening ...

Ok so I shot some club footage (my Settings: 720-24pn, 3.2 preset, shutter 1/24) and when it playsback on my lcd it appears with the correct colors (crazy club lighting with a lot of blue) and it looks really good then I imported my p2 into FCP and it remained in its natural color state, however when I export the footage (both compressed and uncompressed) all of the blue lights turn to like a posterized purple (its an ok effect but not what I want) does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

How are you exporting the footage uncompressed? Also if you are burning a DVD the mpeg compression can have an affect on color. But it is more than likely the monitor you are viewing it on. Is it a calibrated monitor?

the footage is uncompressed, but ive also tried compressor using the web/lan h264 setting but both ways it shows up purple. I am using a Macbook pro 15" with the Huey Pantone color corrector.
