How to correct?

I did the whole 2d motion motion tracking thing (rotation and position) to cover up a green hose in a scene that's supposed to take place in uhh...somewhere where there can't be a green hose.

I had to use nearby tracking points due to the nature of the shot, and the track came out okay but it's very jittery. Is there a way to smooth it out? Would it be possible without retracking?

Footage to come soon...

Doesnt AE's motion tracker also have a "stabilize" feature?

Yeah, but that feature is for stabilizing shaky footage (attempting to make handheld look like it was shot on a tripod), not smoothing a jumpy track.

Hmm...Not sure. You could always PM Andrew Kramer!

Where did you put your tracking point?
Here is a quick "default" tracking. Use a good point in the footage for tracking
