I experienced a problem with my HVX200. Turning the camera fast in 720p, which should for fast motion shooting perfect, causes as result, when I look at the playout afterwards, a shuttering picture, which you cannot use for editing.
Does someone experienced the same problem or is there something wrong with my camera.....:crybaby:

whats your frame rate? at 24P this is normal, also normal in a 24fps film cam. just a nature of only have 24 frames per second.

Turn your OIS off when on a tripod.

Progressive video has half the temporal resolution of interlaced video at the same frame rate.

That depends on framerate. liek for ex. 720-60p has more temporal res than 1080 60i.

Where as 30p 1080, has less temporal than 108060i.

its realtive to what format youre talkign about.

Yes, I'm specifically referring to the case where the number of interlaced fields is twice the number of progressive frames.

strobing is part of 24p. There are guidelines for how fast or slow to pan. It's just part of the game.
