Time Lapse on/off mystery

Does anyone know why the camera doesn't stop recording when you hit the record button while shooting time lapse?


I have to literally switch the camera off to stop recording - and if I want to continue shooting time lapse, I have to go back to the menu settings and start all over again.

Have I missed something?

You don't have to turn it off, but it's true that pressing the record button won't stop the timelapse. What you have to do is press the stop button (which is one of the buttons you use to navigate through the menus). Voila!
