Choppy footage

I am having touble with choppy footage on my HVX 200. When I pan there will be a break in the footage and a delay at the end of the pan. I have read something about dropped frames, but it seemed to be concerned with capturing footage for editing. The problem is inconsistent. I was using an M2 adapter and prime lenses when I was experiencing the problem. Any ideas out there or where I might go for service.

Are you using P2 cards or a firestore?

Neither, I was just shooting tape. I did have the P2 cards in the camera but the client chose to shoot tape.
