I'm in a tough spot here. I need a couple things fixed on my HVX200 but I don't know where to go or what to do. My 1 year warranty is long over, but my firewire port is loose or something because I always lose connection from it with my firestore (and I know it's not the firestore. I've tested that) and I now have to tape my batteries on because the little plastic hinges have almost all but bent off (don't ask me how. I have no idea).
Now, from what I hear, there's nothing I can really do about the battery issue, which is okay, I don't mind having to tape the batteries on. I'd prefer not to, but I'll deal with it. But right now, my Firestore is my only acquisition device and I HAVE to have it! Can someone give me some advice on what to do to fix it or how I should go about this? I'm desperate and very stressed about this!
