Inporting P2 footage through Final Cut Express

If anybody could help me, I would much appreicate it. I'm shooting with the panasonic hvx200 and only have final cut express to inport. I've only inported footage through fcp 5.1 before and do not see the "capture panasonic p2" option in Final Cut Express. Is there a way to inport it, or am I just totally screwed?

You cannot import P2 with FCE....what you can try is P2 logger from Imagine products to create your DVCPRO HD files from P2. However - can you edit DVCPRO HD with FCE???

FCE is for DV and I believe HDV. It does not support DVCProHD.
