P2 recording time problem

I might be missing something really simple but....

I have an 8gb P2 inside slot 1 of my HVX. Whether I set the recording format to 720/24pn or p, the timer always shows as 8min total on my card. what's the problem?

frame rate at default? sounds like you might be overcranking to 60fps

ahhhh....yes. i was testing out the overcranky. I didn't know that the framerate has to be at default show the extra space.

When in pn mode, the recording time is dependent on the frame rate. 60fps nets you 8 minutes. 24fps nets you 21'ish. 12 nets you over 40 and so on.
