Announcement: We are going back to 7 day contests regardless of how many people enter (as evidenced by round 6) Steve and I will continue to offer these contests up for the next several weeks.

Shooting Dates: 05.07.07 - 05.13.07
Submission Deadline: 05.13.07 @ 11:59.59 EST
Voting / Comment Period: 05.14.07 - 05.16.07 @ 11:59.59 EST
Topic: Technology
Topic Details: Take a picture where your subject has to do with technology
Details:
I. You may submit a max. of three images
II. All images must be shot during the contest period
III. You may post process in any manner you see fit
IV. All images must be 3MB or smaller
Upload Instructions:
1. Save file as USERNAME_TECHNO_FILENAME (if you are uploading multiple images please then use USERNAME_TECHNO_FILENAME1, USERNAME_TECHNO_FILENAME2, ect.)
2. Type up any txt document describing your image, process, or any information you want
3. Register for the contest at http://www.stffilms.com/dvxuser_photo_contest
4. Upload image and .txt file to http://www.stffilms.com/upload
5. Be patient, I hear it is a virtue...

So I have a friend who is an electrical engineer. He has to do with technology. So I can submit a photo of him? :)
Seriously, This should be fun. It will be my first attempt in the contest. Any technology is fine, right?

Yes, and just like ideas presented in threads before, this idea is now barred from this round.
C'mon people, it is a theme round. Take your idea, shoot it, and submit it.

Bayne, even though what is going on in a flower is nothing short of marvelous technology on a molecular level, the topic is TECHNOLOGY. :) (were you kidding?)
What we need is pics of micro-wave ovens, etc.

EDIT: It is possible in theory, if we assume that an object can exist in 2 places at the same time, but anyway I'll just go for sleep.

The issue isn't whether ten people shoot the same thing, it is the advertising of ideas. We set a precedent in the past with concept shoots and sharing ideas so we are going to continue that.

I'm out on this one which was going to be my first. My dad took a turn for the worse this week and passed away yesterday morning. So I've been out of the loop most of the week.

I'm torn between two images this week for my top spot! Next week's topic is submitted.
Sorry missed another. I had some decent shots too just didnt get em up in time. I'll post em somewhere.
