one minute short made with PAL HV20

this is a stupid one minute short i made in 10 minutes. i look at the camera in one shot and the last shot is awful due to bad timing. it's just a test really. i tried to get the most cinematic image out of the HV20 so if you were to make a short with the HV20, it would look somewhat like this.

it was all shot at 25p 50 shutter. colour graded in FCP. music by Death In Vegas

yep. i did it all in final cut pro. i crushed the blacks, crushed the mids and blew the whites. de-saturated it a little bit. and pushed everything towards blue green.

i can't post the whole thing full resolution. i have a slow internet connection. it took me an hour just to post it at that resolution :(

this is HDV 1080p25 converted to DVC PRO HD 1080i50 - so it's slightly less than full resolution, but it's what i used. it's the un-CC'd still then the CC'd still. you have to step through it to view it properly

i shot it in tv mode 120 shutter speed in me local park some cc not a lot
takes fantastic pictures this is lower quality as had to downconvert to dv

Is that you in the film? You could go for a real-life version of Asuma Sarutobi, a cartoon character from the Naruto series. Very cool character that is.

Yeah I know, but I was attending this Sci-Fi and Horror film festival the other day and there were people running around dressed EXACTLY like Jiraya, Kakashi and Naruto (Konoha-logos included). In that outfit Patrick would've soooo fitted in with the crowds. Anyway, watched it again Patrick. It's very ace. :)

I only just got up too the new series where Naruto's older. Garra just went into a sand ball and is fighting a guy who makes clay birds...
