I've recovered from the show, and waded through the near 900 photos I have from NAB.

What was that on the bottom of the HVX200 (img 9303.jpg)?

I'm guessing its a storage unit for the p2 card.

And how much does it cost?

I am very curious.

That unit under the HVX (9297-9304) is the prototype of the much discussed Cineporter.
Check out the HVX section of the forum for more info.

It was great to put a few faces to the names I see daily.
Thanks to all who made the party happen!
Next year I won't bail so early. But I won a grand at the craps table after leaving so that wasn't so bad! Hey, that's more then a 16 gig card!

Who are all those DVX folks? I recognized Noah because I keep referencing his sweet DVD. Otherwise, everyone reminds me of ad people. By which I mean drunk. :)

Did you see the guy at NAB with the "hand held jib"? It must have been 12'. My thought was, at what point do we hit stupid? I never saw the shot on the monitor look steady enough even for MTV!

The dvx user party was really nice. At one point it was really hot in that suite with all those people. lol
Anyways thanks to Jarred, Mikko and everybody for having it. Look forward to next year.

Sorry if I offended, but it still looked silly...and jumpy. Not that I could have controlled that thing any better.

No.. I mean it's harsh to say something is shakier than MTV.. because THAT is bad! :)

Peter was the Steadicam operator that ncje was refereing to.. unrelated.

Wheeeew, thanks Mikko.
I hate it when I accidently tick people off! Especially as I begin meeting you guys face to face.
My wife always asks me, did you think before saying that out loud?
