P2 drive partitions

With the 16 and 32GB P2 cards, will transfer to a hard drive partition off the same amount of hard drive space, regardless of the file sizes on the card? Also, what is the maximum number of partitions that can be created?

More than likely.
Those partitions are happening in which ever device you are currently using. I'm assuming that you are refering to a P2 Store. The camera will do it as well. It's a partitioning scheme that lies in the software of the hardware that panasonic distributes. So changing the P2 card changes nothing on that end. Logistically a 16gb card will create (4) 4gb partitions and a 32gb card will create 8.

Perhaps, a firmware upgrade will change that - but as of yet nope.
